From 12th until 16th of July, the group of companies Agromir was taking part in The First International Fruit and Vegetables fair, which was held in Tashkent Uzexpocenter. Even though, it is not the first time the company participates in such an event, we gained much experience and enjoyed the fair greatly.

The main goals pursued by the organizers and participants of the fair were: increase of foreign manufacturing and trading companies’ awareness of Uzbek farmers’ potential in the field of fruits, vegetables, melons and beans cultivation; increase of export volumes as a result.       Being one of the biggest Uzbekistan companies that produce juices, conservations and juice concentrates, the group of companies Agromir presented the entire product mix during the event. The participants and guests had the opportunity to check the quality and the organics of our products.

Talking about other fair events. Heading from one stand to another, the international guests were enjoying the atmosphere of oriental bazaars. They could appreciate the taste of local fruits and vegetables, brought from every single region of our motherland. Edward Steeprise, the senior undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, emphasized the great popularity of Uzbek fruits among residents of The Baltic Sea countries.

As the results of this highly important, state level, event, contracts of intent were made between foreign companies and local exporters. Under the condition of proper development, those contracts are promising to lead the export volumes of Uzbek fruits, vegetables, melons and beans to a very different level.
